ACDC Dynamics makes sizeable donation to SAME Foundation

AC/DC Dynamics is proud to announce, as part of an ongoing social improvement initiative, that it has recently made a donation to the value of around one million Rand to the SAME foundation.

Some background on the SAME foundation:

The S.A. Medical & Education Foundation is a South African NGO that undertakes high impact community development projects. The Foundation boasts a great track-record of completing over 40 projects in the last 13 years, positively influencing millions of South Africans. Their private partnerships with companies and individuals allow them to create the change that they do. They successfully complete their projects thanks to the generous support of businesses and individuals who understand the vital importance of the work that they do.

Their sole aim is to improve healthcare and educational facilities in poverty-stricken communities, where there is no short/medium term governmental budget for improvements. This means that, without intervention by sponsors and the SAME Foundation, these communities won’t be able to receive the healthcare and education that they deserve.

The SAME foundation supplies their schools, hospitals & clinics with the equipment and infrastructure they desperately need to service the large communities using the facilities. They also facilitate teacher and doctor training to improve skills. They are committed to helping their communities and firmly believe that wealth should not be a prerequisite for access to quality education and healthcare. It is the mission of the SAME foundation to allow children in extremely poor communities the opportunity to reach their full potential.

As part of this donation AC/DC Dynamics was able to visit Cosmo Secondary school to drop off Computers for their Computer Centre. Rajen Pillay, the National IT manager for AC/DC Dynamics, was more than happy to be a representative on the excursion, and was warmed by the spirit and gratitude that was shown by the students and teachers that he was lucky enough to meet. We sincerely hope that this donation will make a valuable impact on their lives.

AC/DC Dynamics looks forward to future involvement in more social improvement initiatives.
