ACDC Dynamics a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry is looking for an experienced and Dynamic Security Specialist for our Sales Division.

The Category Specialist - Security is responsible for defining and driving strategies in order to consistently deliver sales results and achieve annual growth targets. The candidate must ensure a robust relationship with existing customers and establish new relationships with additional customers appropriate to our strategy.

As the Category Specialist - Security you will build and maintain good customer relationships in order to effectively meet and achieve business objectives, and sales targets. You should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth.
Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers across various channels and verticals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Establish professional and robust relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers creating new business opportunities
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
  • Stay up to date with new product launches.
  • Proven marketing and sales competencies and ability to analyse markets and set strategies
  • Generating new leads and developing existing customers
  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • Providing feedback regarding suggestions for improvement and market research
  • Customer account maintenance
  • Attending of ad hoc training sessions
  • Find and capitalise on new product opportunities and possible turnkey projects by positioning the brand of ACDC in these customers.
  • Managing employer’s expectations, client relationships with exceptional customer service and support.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Own car and valid driver's licence
  • Essential: 3 - 5 years’ experience in Sales – Electrical / Electronics
  • Proven work experience as a Category Specialist – Security/Security Field Sales
  • Sales Experience in the security field dealing with Gate Motors, Electric Fencing, Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, WiFi and IP cameras or kits, HDMI and VGA Switches as well as all relevant accessories
  • The ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • Sound communication skills (written & verbal), coupled with the effective ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Availability to travel as and when required
  • A relevant Sales, Marketing, or closely related qualification would be advantageous.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft office, AccPacc, Syspro, Power BI, Sage Enterprise Intelligence)
  • A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends.
  • Demonstrate Problem-solving skills and negotiation skills
  • Delivering strategies to optimize Sales Force performance
  • Anticipating business needs, identifying strategies to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate business risks
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement while designing pragmatic solutions to integrate, align, and advance company priorities

KPI’s

  • Meet monthly targets set by company
  • Update CTC reports weekly
  • Call on assigned customers base with 8 constructive call daily.
  • Product introduction to client two samples per week. Samples needs to be cycled weekly
  • Housekeeping of customers account inclusive of ACDC Branding
  • Rotate entire customer base within a four-week cycle
