Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Required:
- Matric
- Administration degree/ diploma
- Technical qualification would be an advantage
- Ability to handle pressure
- Professional approach and ability to work in a team
- 5 years’ experience in related function
Typical Job Functions include, but are not limited to:
- Client Service by being friendly and approachable to all clients either via telephone or personally
- Housekeeping of work station – to be kept neat and tidy and organised at all times
- Up & cross sell and advice clients of alternative products and product advice to be provided to customers
- Promptly answering incoming calls & mails
- Quotes to be finalised promptly and sent to customers and to be followed up
- Queries and/or complaints to responded to without delay
- Back order follow ups and feedback to be given to customers
- Process orders as soon as these are received
- Stock checks to ensure that suitable stock levels are maintained and ensure that requests for additional stock are followed up on a regular basis with the relevant departments
- Continuously learning and remaining up to date with product development and new products
- Ensure correct bucket codes for manufacturing products are provided
- Special transformers sales to be processed correctly
- Promote current specials as and when these are available
- Advise technical information to customers when required
- Assisting in retail store or reception as and when required
- General administrative functions
- Defuse irate customer situations and provide feasible solutions
- Liaising with clients and relevant departments on ETA's & back orders
- Attending exhibitions, franchise open days and launches as and when required
- Attending product knowledge training sessions as and when these occur (ie. ad hoc Saturday training takes place)
- Meet minimum sales budget & targets as set out in the target schedule
- Saturday trade duties are required on a rotational schedule
- Developing and sustaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders
