External Sales - Centurion

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Required:
  • Relevant B Degree/ B Tech Degree or similar technical & electrical qualification
  • 5 to 7 years’ in related sales function
  • Proven marketing and sales competencies and ability to analyse market and set new strategy
  • Ability to establish new markets/ establish new business relationships and train clients on products
Typical Job Functions include, but are not limited to:
  1. Analysis of the marketplace as well as possible designing of a market strategy based on their product offering and relative to the client base demographics
  2. Searching for and capitalizing on new product opportunities positioning and branding for the respective product range in client stores
  3. Together with respective Brand or Category managers, developing product launch programs as well as formulation of customer days or product awareness campaigns within the client portfolio
  4. Liaising with Senior Management and ensuring that sales targets are met
  5. Analysing current marketplace and ensuring feedback is given regarding important market and competitive information
  6. Training clients on products as and when required
  7. Executing sales strategies
  8. Generating new leads and developing existing customers
  9. Responding to customer enquiries
  10. Achieving high sales targets and goals
  11. Building new business relationships using existing industry contacts
  12. When required, giving sales presentations to various levels of audiences
  13. Managing employer’s expectations, client relationships and providing these with excellent service and support
  14. Providing feedback regarding suggestions for improvement and market research
  15. Ability to deal with and respond to high volumes of emails
  16. As and when required, liaising with any business partner regarding exhibitions/ customers’ day etc of any type with reference to ACDC Dynamics and attends these events and or arranging these events
  17. Quotation formulation and follow up of these
  18. Attending Sales Meetings and providing the necessary information/ statistics etc
  19. Planning as well as submission of weekly calls and reporting on weekly activities
  20. Customer account maintenance
  21. Attending of ad hoc training sessions
  22. Saturday work will be required as per published roster
