Floor Assistant - Centurion
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Required:
- Gr12
- 2-5 years’ Experience
- Computer literacy
- High attention to detail
- Good judgement
- Problem solving abilities
- People orientated and well developed communication and inter personal skills
- Flexible
- Persistence
- Apply a positive attitude and self-discipline
- Positive work ethics
- Ability to work under pressure
- Self starter
PURPOSE:
Ensuring that the customer has a pleasant experience while visiting our store and making sure the customer is helped quickly and tended too swiftly.
Typical Job Functions include, but are not limited to:
- Greet customers as they walk in and direct them to where they need to go or take them through to the shelves to get stock and assist them.
- Inform customers of specials currently running and hand out flyers that are available.
- Assist customers with part numbers if they do not have them, which assists the trade counter.
- Familiarise yourselves with the retail store and where to find items and locations.
- Upsell to customers by asking them what else they need or use.
- Pick stock for the sales people behind the trade counter but only in retail not at the warehouse.
- Assist when and where needed
- Need to be neat and tidy at all times
- Be willing to assist with any task presented
