Procurement Admin Clerk - Longmeadow

PURPOSE : Procurement Admin Clerk, with a view to train into Procurement. Position entails General Admin; Assist Buyers with follow ups and schedules. Must be computer literate, Excel/Google Sheets would be advantageous.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist with reports
  • Assist with ETA dates and follow up
  • Communication with customers/clients
  • Communication with buyers and report back to them on tasks to be performed
  • Developing Excel spreadsheets to assist in purchasing functions
  • Checking on stock availability
  • General office and administrative duties
  • Assist with answering of phones in the department and relief for PA of Managing Member

Capability Profile:

  • Ability to work on Excel spreadsheets
  • Capable to learn fast
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to changes
  • Capable of understanding instructions and importance of correct execution of duties

Qualifications & Experience

  • GRADE 12
  • 2 years of general administrative duties and working on Excel
