Payroll Administrator - Longmeadow
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Required:
- Matric
- Matric
- Payroll Diploma or Certificate would be an advantage
- Ability to handle pressure
- Accurate and ability to check own work
- Professional approach and ability to work in a team
- 5 years’ experience in MEIBC payroll function
- Advanced Sage People system experience
- Ability to work within strict deadlines
Typical Job Functions include, but are not limited to:
- Full payroll function for weekly paid and monthly paid employees – this includes scheduled and non-scheduled employees and MEIBC and BCEA employees plus permanent and temporary employees
- Obtaining all input for payrolls and processing this accurately and on time
- All payroll returns ie payments to provident funds, SARS, medical aid, UIF, garnishees etc
- Ensure that all reconciliations are completed
- Interaction with supervisors, line managers and employees regarding payroll queries
- Prompt filing of all payroll input
- Completion of labour statistics and returns
- Handling queries on annual financial audits
- Assist as and when required with other office administration duties
