This course has been designed to illustrate the fundamentals of effective and efficient motor control.

Prerequisites for delegates that would like to attend 

  • Individuals wanting to attend the course should be able to:
  • Describe and identify switchgear components, cable types, and bus bars.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of electric switchgear assembly drawings.
  • Interpret switchgear symbols and variables

After having attended this course, students should have a clear understanding of.

  • Fundamentals of Circuit Breakers and Contractors.
  • Fundamentals of Change- Over Switches.
  • Fundamentals of Motor Starting Methods.
  • Motor starting product ranges.
  • Fundamentals of Soft Starters
